Here in the Quad Cities we are used to seeing a bridge stuck underneath the bridge on Brady St in Davenport. So much so that if a truck hits the bridge and it isn't opened up like a can of tuna we tend not to pay attention.

Here this morning, a crew from outside of the QC hit the infamous bridge stating that because of the flood waters downtown, their GPS pointed them North on 61/Brady St.

They said that they thought they could sneak it under as there was only an inch difference between the bridge and their truck. Well guess what, that doesn't work. Just because you're only an inch higher than the bridge doesn't mean that by driving slowly underneath will somehow magically make your vehicle an inch shorter.
