Truck Carrying Port-A-Potties Rolls Over on Highway

No matter how crappy the traffic may get around here, it stinks way more in Mesa, Arizona, literally. A sewage truck that was hauling port-a-potties rolled over and dumped its load on the highway.

While the portable toilets were free of human excrement, the septic tank on the truck was not. Feces and urine seeped out of the vents on top of the tank when the truck tipped.

Arizona Department of Public Safety Sgt. Aaron Buckmister says this is the first time he's seen something like this. "There are three compartments in that tank. One is fresh water, one is deodorizer and the other is waste water. The waste water came out the top."

The transporting crew was responsible for cleaning up the mess. The local fire department was left to decide if further sanitization would be required.
