Top 5 Best Rock & Roll Christmas Songs

I love Christmas, I love Christmas songs...but I love some non-traditional tunes too.  So, I made a playlist on Spotify.

That list may not be for everyone.  In fact...there's a FEAR song that is for almost nobody (so, beware).

But here are a few of my favorites:

Slade is known to most as the band who made Quiet Riot famous.  But, Cum on Feel the Noise and Mama Weer All Crazee Now don't compare to this great Christmas tune!

Tom Petty is obviously an amazing songwriter. It's no surprise that Christmas All Over Again is on my list of best Xmas songs.  The Heartbreakers also do "Little Red Rooster", which is a cool bluesy number.

The Ramones are not known for their cheerful demeanor...so it makes sense that their holiday classic tells the story of a lonely fella begging his gal to come back and stop fighting.  A killer punk song in its own right on an album that doesn't get as much love as it should.

Anything on this Metal Xmas album could be on this list...but Lemmy Kilmister doing Run Rudolph Run with Dave Grohl on drums is about as good as it gets.

A classic AC/DC tune with sleazy lyrics & rockin guitar. Christmas? "Want to be in heaven with three in a bed".  Makes you wonder if Santa only truly comes once a year?
