Teen Infected With Hookworms Can Feel Them Moving

Here's something that will make your skin crawl... literally! A teen that was on a mission trip to Florida became infected with hookworms and can feel them moving inside him.

17-year-old Michael Dumas from Memphis, Tennessee is still suffering more than a month after the trip. At first, he was just tired and had ear pain, then bumps appeared on his thigh. It all started when the teen got buried up to his neck in sand. That's when the worms burrowed under his skin.

The teen's symptoms have worsened and even though he's taking several medicines and a steroid, he's still in pain. Michael cannot wear shoes and has to soak the afflicted areas with bleach water. His mother, Kellie Mulhollen Dumas, posted a photo of his injuries on Facebook:
