When I tell you, "Bring your kids to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds Saturday," for the Annual Ranch Riders Easter Egg Hunt, I speak from experience.  Years of experience. Decades to be more accurate.

So you might as well bring your kids out to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on Saturday (April 19). Gates open at 11 AM, hunt starts at 1 PM, courtesy of the unmistakable cannon blast.

There's no admission fee to get in, but it is requested that a donation be made to the The Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities. All money stays here in the Quad Cities. **NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY**

There are five fields roped off for different age groups and a field just for children with special needs. A portion of the special needs field will be on a hard surface to accommodate wheelchairs & walkers.

It takes multiple clubs to be able to pull off such an event.

Be sure to get there with plenty of time. I can't remember how many times it's 12:59 and there's someone dragging there kids in tow yelling to "WAIT!!!!" It's sad, but no one is waiting. The cannon goes off at exactly 1. There are 30,000 eggs on the field, and they're gone by about 1:03.

Since you'll be there early, there's plenty to do including: Food, Drinks, Games, Raffles, Bounce Houses, and Face Painting.

Hope to see you there!!!
