Take a Ride up 84 For The Blessing of the Bikes This Sunday

Abate of Iowa District 21 is hosting their 33rd annual Blessing of the Bikes this Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 1pm in downtown Fulton, Illinois. They'll have Preacher Matt & Preacher Dan say some prayers for our two-wheeled friends that they stay safe this riding season.

Why Now?

This is the time of year when you'll start seeing motorcycles on a daily basis. We'll be sharing the road with many fathers, brothers, mothers, and sisters...so, extra precaution is needed from all of us to keep people safe.

Plus, for our Quad Cities friends, it's a great excuse for a road trip up north a bit up highway 84. A super scenic ride that will take you through Hampton, Rapid City, Port Byron, Cordova, Albany, and then Fulton. Keep going up 84 and you'll eventually hit Poopy's which every biker is familiar with.

What Else is There

At the Bike Blessing in Fulton, they'll have a beer garden, vendors to buy some cool stuff from, they'll have a 50/50 raffle and you can donate to local food pantries by bringing canned goods. So stock your saddlebags with some goodies before you head out.

Springer's Bar & Grill will host Brooke Byam at 3pm with some live music for you.
