The first major snowstorm of the season is officially on the way. Several inches of snow will blanket Iowa and Illinois and cities are preparing. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued ahead of tomorrow's storm.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for every county in Eastern Iowa for the seasons first major snowstorm. 8 inches of snow or more is expected in some parts of the state.

The first major snowstorm for Eastern Iowa is finally arriving. We could see 6 inches or more of snow by the time the storm has passed through Wednesday evening.

While we had extreme cold this week, Louisiana had unprecedented snow.

Winter is the worst.

There is a lot more winter to go for Wisconsin.

Eastern Iowa will see more snow dumped on it this weekend. It won't be much but travel could be impacted early Sunday morning. 1-2 inches expected to fall overnight.
