Taco Bell Workers Attacked a Guy for Complaining About a 45-Minute Wait
I've dealt with bad customer service before, but never THIS bad. A bunch of people at a Taco Bell in Philadelphia were complaining last week after they had to wait 45 MINUTES for their food.
We're not sure what the hold-up was, but people were angry, and right around then, a 38-year-old guy named Bryan Reese walked in with his girlfriend.
It's not clear if Bryan was one of the people who complained or not. But employees must have thought so, because a half-dozen staff members hopped the counter and started attacking him.
He tried to run away, but they chased him outside, put him in a headlock, and kept pounding him. AND they attacked his girlfriend too.
Bryan's friend got it on video. All the employees involved have been fired. And the rest of the staff is going through additional training.
Bryan says Taco Bell has been slow to respond. All the owner offered him was a $20 gift card to make up for it. So he's planning to press charges, and we assume a lawsuit is probably in the works.
