Support Korean War Vet From Davenport Evicted and Living in Van
Over the weekend Norman Pope, an Army vet during the Korean Conflict was evicted from his Davenport apartment. He's now living out of his van, and his belongings were boxed up and set out on the curb.
A group of Good Samaritans stopped by with a trailer and loaded up his things until he has somewhere to put it. He was relocated with his dog to a hotel paid for by another kind person, but it's not a long term fix.
Norman's niece put together a GoFundMe to raise some money to help him out a little bit to get through the medical bills he has to make it a bit easier to afford a place to live on a fixed income.
Give a vet a hand.
