If the name sounds familiar, it's either because you were a band kid, or your kid was a band kid.

Stoltenberg owned and operated the local favorite Northwest Music Shop, which he opened in 1972. Over the next 50 years, he would be not only the last full-service independent music store in the area, but he would be the location every band kid in the area who needed repairs would see for their work at his store on Washington Street.
