Squirrel Chews Through Town’s Christmas Display

Police in Sea Girt, New Jersey have been on the lookout for a certain Grinch that was vandalizing a Christmas display. Turns out the culprit was a bit smaller and furrier than they expected.

A hungry squirrel had chewed through the wires on some strands of lights and had torn up another display. Officers staked-out the location all weekend to capture the suspect.

The rodent was charged with criminal mischief and released on bail.
