Over the past few years we've all noticed an increase in the criminal activity in the QCA, most notably in Davenport.

According to a new study conducted by Your Local Security, Davenport is the has the most robberies out of any other city in the state of Iowa.

The FBI officially defines robbery as “taking or attempting to take anything of value from the care, custody, or control of a person or persons by force or threat of force or violence and/or putting the victim in fear.”

The study, analyzed FBI crime data from 2017 of the 319,356 robberies occurred across the nation. They covered all U.S. cities with a population more than 20,000 that submitted data to the FBI and then calculated the robberies per capita for each city.

In 2017 Davenport had a population of 102,320 and there were a reported 19.70 robberies per 10,000 people that year. That put Davenport right behind Pueblo, CO which had a score of 19.75.

The study also found that Chicago is the most robbed city in Illinois. Which surprises exactly no one.

Boise, ID came in last on the robbery list, with only 2.26 robberies per 10,000 people.
