See The House of Kolor Jet Car Up Close and Personal Before World Series of Drag Racing
The World Series of Drag Racing is coming up quick, and there's an opportunity for you to get up close and personal with a jet car before it hits the track.
House of Kolor's Jet Car, driven by Josette Roach and Dewayne Hill, will be outside of Kickin Kolor at 3718 Rockingham Road, Davenport on Thursday, August 25th.
Kickin Kolor will be giving away VIP tickets for you to get into the race, but you'll even get to hang with the jet car team in their pit.
Josette Roach is a 27-year-old from Saint Augustine, Florida. She developed an early interest in the automotive and motorsports industries. This isn’t surprising considering her family was involved in drag racing and the automotive industry long before Josette was alive. Her parents, naturally, were at a race track the day before she was born.
In 2015 Josette graduated with an Associate in Arts degree, and after experimenting in music, theater, cheer, and even biomedical sciences, she decided to pursue a degree in the industry she grew up around. Josette joined up with the Larsen Motorsports team since 2017 - where she went full-time in 2019.
With 11 years of drag racing experience, and 1 year of jet car dragster under her belt, 2022 is her first season as the primary driver for the House of Kolor Jet Racing Team.
