Yesterday was pretty rough, it all started with that horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas and then news came out in the afternoon that Tom Petty was in full cardiac arrest and passed away.

A while back I stumbled upon "Runnin' Down a Dream" on Netflix. If you have any interest in the story of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, this documentary is for you.

With a run time at just under four hours, watching it is like eating a meal on Thanksgiving. You're gonna be full. The whole thing is pretty all inclusive and chronicles everything.

From the band starting out as Mudcrutch to Tom Petty's solo career, nothing is untouched. A bunch of musicians get interviewed too, names like George Harrison, Stevie Nicks, Dave Grohl, Jeff Lyne, and Jackson Browne.

So if you have a spare few hours, definitely check this one out.
