Another big car show is taking place in Davenport this weekend, and it's all to benefit those who put it all on the line so that we didn't have to.

The Rolling On The River Car Show takes place at LeClaire Park in Downtown Davenport this Saturday. All proceeds donated for this show will benefit the QC Veterans Outreach Center.

If it has wheels, it's welcome at this show.

According to their website, The Quad City Veterans Outreach is "a center focused on assisting and reaching out to serve those who have served us."

Some of the services they provide include:

  • Food Pantry
  • Free Days Monthly to Assist Veterans
  • Help with Job Placement
  • Assistance with Housing
  • Veterans Benefit Assistance Counseling
  • Informational Help to Veterans
  • Monthly / Yearly Events

This show is free to the public on Saturday October 16th, from 9am-3pm. Those looking to show their vehicle will be asked for a $15 entry fee.

Rolling On The River Car Show will feature cars, trucks, motorcycles and rat rods.

Music by the Tailfins will be taking place throughout the show, as well as a silent auction, 50/50 and food from the Farmer's Market Food Vendors.
