It's a new year, and that means a new class of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

Before there can be an induction, there have to be nominees for people to ponder for some time before voting on them. The seven top-voted artists will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, located in Cleveland, Ohio.

There are seven first-time nominees, including Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, and Eminem.

The thing is, the performer has to have released their first single or album in or before 1996, making the first tracks over 25 years old. In some industries, 25 years is considered "Classic." Meaning, that the artists my kids grew up with are now considered "Classic" (insert genre here).

Voting for fans, is currently open through April 29th through the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website (Voting below). The official 2022 Class will be announced in May, with the induction ceremony being announced in the fall.
