Rob Zombie has shared the first official teaser trailer for 3 From Hell, the musician and auteur's upcoming horror film sequel to 2005's The Devil's Rejects and 2003's House of 1000 Corpses. Fifteen years since the former film's release, 3 From Hell is set to continue the story of the murderous Firefly Family, the macabre outlaws who were seemingly shot to death by police at the end of The Devil's Rejects.

However, the trio have somehow returned from the grave for the third horror installment, it seems, as shown in the sneak peek. The movie has already been rated R in the U.S. for "strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity and drug use," echoing the seedy themes Zombie peppered throughout the original exploitation horror film and its harrowing road movie follow-up film.

"Finally it's here!" Zombie shared Monday (June 10). "Your first official look at 3 FROM HELL! please feel free to share it with everyone!" The new trailer recaps 3 From Hell's preceding films by showing clips from both House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects before offering a look at some new footage.

"First, House of 1000 Corpses," begins the ominous red text that flashes onscreen between shots. "Then, The Devil's Rejects. Now, Rob Zombie unleashes 3 From Hell." The upcoming film has yet to receive a release date, but fans can catch Zombie on the road with Marilyn Manson this summer on the Twins of Evil II tour.
