Something about a blue moon on Halloween just feels like it has 2020 level repercussions, but I guess we won't know until we get there.

October 31st of 2020 brings us an especially bright sky thanks to a blue moon, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.

Even though it's not blue in color, the name is given to the second full moon in a calendar month, which is true in this case.

The name is also given when three or four full moons occur in a single season.

Trick-or-Treaters should be thrilled about the blue moon, because it only falls on Halloween about every 19 years. The next time it happens, will more than likely be when this year's kids are dressing their own kids up for trick-or-treat, in 2039.
