This New $30 Million Moline Rehab Hospital Will Add 140 Jobs
A new healthcare facility is set to open up this summer in Moline and they're adding a bunch of jobs to the QC.
It's the Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute, a joint venture between UnityPoint Health-Trinity and Encompass Health. It's set to open up in August so they're working on hiring staff for the new hospital now.
They are currently hiring for a myriad of positions, including registered nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, cooks, and case managers.
WHBF reports that the new hospital comes with a $30 million price tag and will open at the intersection of 52nd & 7th Street in Moline, close to Trinity's 7th Street campus. Encompass Health is the nation's largest owner of inpatient rehab hospitals. The hospital's actual address will be 653 52nd Avenue.
Encompass Health says that the new hospital will provide inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals who are recovering from stroke, neurological disorders, brain injuries, hip fractures, amputations, spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic conditions, and other situations. Patients will get at least 3 hours of therapy a day for 5 days a week.
The rehab hospital will have 40 private patient rooms, a therapy gym, a suite for activities of daily living, a therapy courtyard, a dining room, a dialysis suite, a dayroom, and an in-house pharmacy.
They're having a hiring fair on June 22nd from 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. You can see a list of occupations they're looking to fill and RSVP to the event here. For more details on the Quad Cities Rehabilitation Hospital, check out their website.
