I can understand why Chicago and Phillie are topping the list of St. Patrick's Day cities, but I'd say the Quad Cities should have made the list.

We've got the only bi-state St. Patrick's Day Parade!  That alone should put us in the running!

The Huge Party at the Mississippi Valley Fair, Kelly's St. Patrick's Day Party down at the Freighthouse, Harrington's Pub, Kavanaugh's,  The Dam View...actually ALL of downtown Davenport is a big reason why the QC's should be considered.

Perhaps we need to dye part of the Mississippi green (*google 'what plus brown equals green?')

Or we can have a Leprechaun 5k Run or a corned beef and cabbage eating contest?

We need to step up our game, Quad Cities.  More green wigs!  More "Kiss Me I'm Irish" shirts!  More green beer!  More Irish car bombs! MORE MORE MORE!

By the way....there's no way you're getting me to Rockford to celebrate anything!
