Quad Cities Arena Football Returns to the iWireless Center

After being out of action for eight and a half years, the Quad City Steamwheelers are back and ready to bring arena football back to the iWireless Center.

The franchise signed a five-year deal and will start next spring as part of the Champions Indoor Football league. It's awesome to see the sports scene in the QCA growing like this.

The Steamwheelers won the Arena Cup in their first two seasons when they started back in 2000. Here's hoping they continue to win when the team returns to the iWireless Center.

The team will be making their official announcement this afternoon.
