Ever want to join a club where you drink beer and talk about beer and win beer related prizes and discounts?  QCBC might be for you!
This month the Quad Cities Beer Club will meet at the Pour Wall over there at Pour Bros. in downtown Moline! Their self-serve pour wall features 28 taps of local, regional and national beverages. Their dynamic space showcases the buildings history, cool features, includes fun games, and brings a new atmosphere to downtown Moline.
We'll have giveaways and of course the fan-favorite beer exchange – bring a six-pack, leave with a mix-pack!

Sneak Peek at the new brews available this Saturday at Pour Bros.
Basil Ale from Scratch Brewing
One of their all-time classics! This beer’s aroma comes from basil rather than hops, but plays with the chemical compounds present in both to make a beer that tastes intriguingly familiar. Brewed with lemon basil, sweet basil, and tulsi basil from our garden; honey from our friends at Royal Bee in Steeleville; grain from Sugar Creek Malt; and fermented with our house culture. Bright basil and hop-like aroma that tastes fresh now but stands up well to aging.
Mumm Sour Dark Ale from Scratch Brewing (only 12 bottles available)
Sour dark ale brewed without hops. Bittered and flavored with herbs from their garden: basil, sage, rosemary, lavender, lemon thyme; and fermented with our wild house mixed culture.
Flavor of the Week - Tart Cherry Sour Ale from White Oak Brewing
Her boyfriend, He don't know, Anything about fruited sour, He's too stoned, Nintendo, Tart Cherries, She's just the flavor of the week! (we know you just sang this, and that's OK)
Rippin Lips IPA from White Oak Brewing
This session IPA was designed for warm summer days hunting big bass. Hoppy, refreshing, and sessionable.

Let's go back to the 1990's to Wacky Waters, 50 Cent Beer night and revisit Mallards Mania!

Why My 1st Time Camping Sucked…and How You Can Avoid Problems

Let me correct my own headline.  My first time camping didn’t “suck”.  Camping was actually a blast!  Once we were there it was great.  Getting there and leaving was a GIANT pain in the ass.

Here’s what I’d do differently:
