15 years ago my buddy told us about his standing Tuesday obligation of going out for drinks with the guys after work.  They called it "Beer Club".  Sometimes a problem would arise at work where an "Emergency Beer Club" would be called and they'd add an additional after work session at a local bar.
I LOVED this idea so I gathered a bunch of my friends for Wednesday Night Beer Club.  Only we grabbed instruments and drank beer and played covers at Stickman's.  It eventually fell apart but still brings back great memories.
Then I heard of QC Beer Club.  I originally thought they knew the same guy I knew but the name was just a coincidence.  Since then, my buddy Brandon Mavis, from Craft QC has taken it over and if you're a craft beer lover this is a great idea for you.
QC Beer Club gathers at a local brewery on the second Saturday of each month to talk beer.  There is usually a bottle share where you bring a few of your favorite brews to share with other beer lovers to enjoy.
It's the QCBC way of trying some beers you've never had or ever heard of. Bring a Six-Pack leave with a Mix-Pack!
Plus they'll have raffle tickets for some pretty cool giveaways.  Merch, bottle openers, maybe even some free beer!
Join the QC Beer Club now for just $10 a month or buy a membership for someone this holiday season.
Wear your best ugly apparel – this can be a shirt, pants, hoodie, sweater, hat – whatever you have. Winner will get a prize!

What The Quad Cities Did For Fun in the 90's

Many times over the years, I'll be talking with friends about years gone by and I'll say "take me back".

Every generation goes through this, I assume. Looking back at a more simple time where responsibilities haven't set in and life seems fun. Opportunities are endless.

Let's go back to the 1990's to Wacky Waters, 50 Cent Beer night and revisit Mallards Mania!
