This Week
It's Women's History Month and Rachel Leiby, Head Brewer at Geneseo Brewing, is hosting a Women's Collaboration Brew Day this Sunday. If you are a woman interested in the brewing process, this event is open to all skill and knowledge levels. Be at Geneseo Brewing around 8:00am to join other local ladies to create a special brew from a recipe by the Pink Boots Society.
Over the last few months, CraftQC.com interviewed 10 women from the craft beer industry around the Quad Cities. Women in a variety of positions. From the front of the house to the back that are shaping the field today. Ownership, brewing, managing, bartending, marketing. While women are still a minority in the business, they can do it all and this is their story.
