Portion Of Middle Road Closed Thursday Afternoon for Davenport Central Homecoming Parade

It's Homecoming season, which means on top of the dances, pictures in parks and football games, there's going to be some parades too.

This afternoon, a portion of Middle Road will be closed during the Davenport Central High School's Homecoming Parade.

The route will make a circle through the northern part of the McClellan Heights neighborhood:

• 18th Street going east from McKinley
• Fernwood south to Forest Rd
• Forest Rd North to Middle Rd
• Middle Rd west to Woodland Avenue

 It's a short parade, but if you're looking to show your Central spirit, be sure to stop by wearing your Red and Blue. Festivities start at 6.

Friday night, the 4-1 Blue Devils will take on 1-3 Bettendorf for their homecoming game.
