Pearl Jam have launched an online 8-bit baseball game inspired by their Let’s Play Two concert movie. The game offers players a chance to win prizes by hitting home runs, using members of the band as players. Join in via the Pearl Jam website now.

“Try to top the scoreboard for your chance to win an autographed baseball and custom Pearl Jam baseball bat," the game introduction explained. "Select a member of the band, time your swings perfectly, and in 60 seconds collect the most points on the distance of your hit. High scores will unlock exclusive content. Hit multiple home-runs over 440 feet to unlock 30 additional seconds.”

Let’s Play Two premiered in September before being shown on TV in October, and then released in home formats on Nov. 17. It was shot during two Pearl Jam shows in 2016 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, home of the Chicago Cubs, as the team made their way to an historic World Series championship – their first in 108 years.

“Pearl Jam has forged a relationship with the city, the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field that is unparalleled in the world of sports and music," the producers said. "From Ten to Lightning Bolt, the feature film shuffles through Pearl Jam’s ever-growing catalogue of originals and covers, spanning the band's 25-year career.”

Director Danny Clinch added: “Our instincts were correct to follow the story. I have learned to welcome the unexpected and it always pays off if you're ready for it."
