A video was shared by an Australian band, and people can't decide if it was an actual awkward moment they had during a show or if it's just to promote their new tour. Either way, the video's PAINFUL to watch.

The band, Bootleg Rascal, shared the video of the guy, who they called up to the stage. Dressed in his white shirt (probably for the band) and a black backwards hat, grabbed the mic and told the crowd why he was there.

“My partner and I came to watch Bootleg Rascal about two, three years ago," then he asked his girlfriend, Jamie, to come up on stage. "Can you come up on stage quickly?”

And that's when it began.

“We saw Bootleg Rascal about two years ago,” said the man. “I thought, you know, they’re our favourite band, and I thought today why not, maybe today is the time.”

He got down on one knee as Jamie grabbed his hand, desperately trying to pull him back up to his feet.

Before he could even ask her, "Will you marry me?" Jamie was already shaking her head no and walking off the stage. Then he just got out a "No..?"

Then, a guy in a Scooby Doo suit came and held him in an embrace and helped him off the stage.

The part where people aren't too sure about it being legit is when the band then announced their new song, a breakup song, Reasons.
