Mom Runs To Save Her Toddler, Who Is Trying To Pet A Bear in Their Backyard
A surveillance video shows a heroic mom snatching her toddler up in their family's backyard before a rampant bear did.
The video begins with the toddler standing on the back patio of their Redmond, Washington home. She squeals with excitement after seeing a bear run across their stone retaining wall.
"It's a BEAR!" she shouts as she takes off running across the backyard to pet it.
Just as she leaves the patio, her mom, Samantha Martin, barrels out of the patio door to grab her daughter.
"SHIT!" she yells as she runs out into the yard.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! There's a f***ing bear outside!" Martin shouted as she ran back into the house with her toddler under her arm like a football.
Samantha said her daughter, Juniper, loves all animals, no matter how predatory they may be.
"I was scared and started cussing like a sailor," she said.
