Man Appears at Virtual Court Hearing While Driving, Shocks Judge
Corey Harris, 44, was initially charged with driving with a suspended license in October 2023. As per court records, he was scheduled for a virtual appearance before Judge Cedric Simpson on the morning of May 15. However, what transpired during the hearing was something no one could have anticipated.
What Happens In The Viral Video?
The viral video begins with Harris informing the court that he was pulling up to his doctor's office and requesting a moment. A long pause ensued, during which Judge Simpson appeared to be reviewing Harris' record. The judge's expression shifted from surprise to disbelief as he addressed the court.
"No, I'm looking at his record. He doesn't have a license. He's suspended and he's just driving," Judge Simpson remarked, visibly taken aback by the audacity of Harris' actions. The judge then voiced the thoughts on everyone's mind, "I don’t even know why he would do that," before making a decisive move to revoke Harris' bond and ordering him to turn himself in immediately.
The video concludes with Harris exclaiming "oh my God" and leaning back in his seat, seemingly in shock at the judge's order.
Harris is now facing further legal consequences, compounding his existing charges.
