A man was arrested Tuesday after being accused of riding off with a golf course beverage cart from the Stadium Golf Club in Schenectady.

Just before 2pm yesterday, a course employee parked the beverage cart outside the club's pro shop, and went inside to get product to refill the cooler.  That's when the suspect jumped in the cart and took off.

Police arrived on scene to investigate, and tracked the cart back to the Kelsey Commons apartment complex nearby, where they were able to take the suspect into custody.

The suspect was identified as 39-year-old Angel Castro, who is being charged with grand larceny, which is a felony charge.

One can only assume he stocked his own fridge up with whatever was left in the cart. If it was the cart he was after, he could've just ordered one through Fairway Café.
