When it comes to Chick-fil-A, I have an especially soft spot in my heart (well, stomach.) Something about that chicken and those waffle fries combined with the sauce and the lemonade is unbeatable. I always say "If I could eat this every day, I would." Well, one guy in Pennsylvania made local (and now national) headlines for doing just that.

The unofficial record for eating Chick-fil-A was previously set at 114 days in a row, but Matt Stoudt saw that and decided to raise the bar.

Since July 13, Matt has eaten at the local Chick-fil-A for the last 132 days, except Sundays, of course. He says he was inspired after reading about the previous record being set in 2019, and thought he could do that.

Stoudt became friends with restaurant staff, and some even say they know his voice over the intercom.

"When I heard about it, I'm like 'that's crazy,' but it made me feel good that he picked us to do that challenge with," Ashley Marshall said of his mission.

Stoudt even went out of the way to find a restaurant when he was on vacation with his family to keep the streak going, and has waited as long as 25 minutes in line to make sure he maintained his record.

“Around day 100, day 100 was tough," he said.

He warned others that it isn't easy to do, but also told them not to bother try beating his record.

"No, no. Don't do it," he joked. "If you do it, I'll have to do it again."
