Man Attempts To Shoot Woodchuck, Bullet Ricochets and Hits Golfer
According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, emergency services were called to The Golf Club at Camelot in Lomira, WI around 11am Monday morning.
The incident is still under investigation, but authorities say a 50-year-old who lives near the golf course attempted to shoot a groundhog in his yard.
His shot missed the groundhog, ricocheted off some trees, and hit an 80-year-old man playing golf on the course, who sustained some non-life threatening injuries.
The man is expected to recover and be released from the hospital.
As for the groundhog, well, he's alright.
