Live Music, Car Show & More in Milledgeville This Weekend

Friday June 4, 2021 through Sunday June 6th, 2021 Milledgeville Illinois is gonna be ROCKING!

Where the hell is Milledgeville Illinois, you ask?

It's a 14 miles North of Sterling were this reporter was born and raised.

They're hosting a weekend long shindig with live music, great food, and a car show too with the great 3 On The Tree playing on Sunday!

Friday at 7pm Just 4 Fun Band will be opening up for a great act, Bobbie White.  Then Satuday at 6:30...my band, Folk n' Stages open up for LAVA Rock.

You may remember LAVA Rock as the band that opened up for Tom Keiffer of Cinderella at the 97X 40th Anniversary Concert.  They play Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Van Halen & Aerosmith...thus the acronym LAVA.  They're a great band and I can't wait to see them play on the street where my dad & his friends drunkenly tried to move the town Christmas Tree from the side of the street to it's normal place in the center of the road.

My band, Folk n' Stages (why I get to do a shameless 97X plug for the event) will be playing just 2 blocks away from where my original band Urinalysis set up in Mr & Mrs Folk's garage and blasted out hit originals like "Mummies Bridge" and "You F&*%ing Die".

And for that, I'd like to apologize to their neighbors.

If you ever get a chance to play music in the town that helped shape who you are I suggest you do it.

It's going to be a ton of fun!
