An attorney from Pittsburgh was arrested for dropping his pants in Allegheny County family court.

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office said when they get called to the metal detectors, or magnetometers, at a court house, it's because someone tried to bring a weapon of some kind, not because there's a dude standing around with his pants around his ankles.

Officials said Attorney Jeffrey Pollock was going through the Family Division Complex metal detectors on the way to a hearing. Deputies say when he walked through the machine, he kept setting off the alarms.

Pollock says he thought his suspenders were the culprit and he didn't want to take them off, but guards asked him to keep walking through until the alarms stopped sounding, according to the sheriff's office.

Pollock got into a very heated argument with the guards, and that's when deputies say he unhooked his suspenders, took his pants off and placed them in the bin and went through the metal detector.

As he was standing in the Family Division Rotunda in just his shirt and underwear, the deputies were called and took him into custody.

Jeffery Pollock is facing charges of disorderly conduct.
