Joel Holland from Sumner, California has grown pumpkins that weigh 1,700 pounds before, but his newest blows all of them out of the water.

He went to load this year's giant pumpkin into the bed of his truck with his tractor and he couldn't get it to move. A quick rental of a commercial forklift and Joel was on his way to the World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay.

Joel's pumpkin weighs in a 2,363 pounds and has set a world record for the largest ever grown outdoors and the largest ever grown in North America. Winning the competition has net him a prize of $7-per-pound or $16,541.
