You always hear about these stories from the news leading up to Halloween and my response is always the same. "C'mon, man. No one is giving your kids THC gummies. Do you know how expensive those tings are?"

Well, police in a Connecticut community are warning parents to check their child's candy before letting them have at it, after two children had a surprise in their bucket.

Officer's were alerted when two children's parents turned in THC gummies that were supposedly received by a home in the community. Connecticut is not currently a state that allows the sale of edible candies.

Personally, I think some quick thinkers got caught and pulled the classic "I have no idea where these came from." I don't believe them, solely because the Waterford Police's Facebook post said "Under 18," which just sounds like they're shortly under 18.
