If you recall, there was supposed to be a 50 year Anniversary Woodstock that ended up falling apart. Turns out John Fogerty still got paid, even though he didn't do anything, and decided to donate the money to a good cause.

November 11th will be the groundbreaking for a new home for a veteran who's been down on his luck. The home will be built in Veterans Village, a community in Las Vegas built from repurposed large shipping containers. It will be named "The Proud Mary John Fogerty Container Home."

The groundbreaking event will be followed by a private screening of Fogerty's new film "50 Year Trip: Live at Red Rocks," in theaters only on the 11th, as well as a short, private concert by Fogerty.

"50 Year Trip" was recorded at a June 2019 concert in Colorado.
