Dunn Brothers Coffee Is Coming to Davenport, Clinton, and East Moline
Coffee lovers in the Quad Cities could have a new spot to check out in the coming years! Dunn Brothers Coffee is planning to open locations in Davenport, Clinton, Iowa, and East Moline, Illinois, with the first shop expected to open in 2027.
Three New Coffee Shops Planned for the Area
The Minneapolis-based coffee chain has signed a development agreement with Kevin and Michelle Ramirez, an Iowa couple who will bring the brand to the area. The expansion will also mark the company's first move into Illinois.
Meet the Couple Behind the Expansion
The Ramirezes aren't new to running restaurants. They currently own multiple Jersey Mike's Subs locations and previously spent 20 years as Arby's franchisees.
Now, they're taking on a new venture with Dunn Brothers Coffee. The couple says they're big coffee fans and are excited about the company's approach to roasting beans right inside its shops.
While the plans include three locations, there's still some waiting to do before we can grab a cup. The first shop is projected to open sometime in 2027, although specific addresses and opening dates have not yet been announced.
A New Coffee Option for the Quad Cities
Dunn Brothers Coffee was founded in Minneapolis in 1987 and has grown to nearly 50 locations across six states.
For the Quad Cities, the planned Davenport and East Moline shops would add another coffee option to an area that already has plenty of places to get a caffeine fix. Clinton is also included in the company's plans, bringing another potential location to eastern Iowa.
If everything stays on track, the first Dunn Brothers Coffee shop could arrive in 2027.
