‘Idiot’ Decides To Walk Right Up To Wolf Pack At Yellowstone
A man who's been called an idiot by basically the entire internet somehow got away unscathed after approaching a pack of wolves in the middle of Yellowstone National Park, and the entire thing was captured on video.
The clip showed a guy wearing a white scarf, filmed from really far away on a really good camera, just walking right up to a group of five wolves that are in hanging around a field.
“Hey! Hey! Get the hell away from them! Back up!” people watching the situation unfold could see. The guy kept walking towards the black wolves, who then took notice of the guy.
The wolves approached him, and the guy reached up and fired some bear spray at the front one, who backed off immediately, until the rest caught up and they all approached at the same time.
“He’s gonna get his ass chewed,” one said. “Oh yeah.”
The guy faced the wolves and backed down into a little dip in the ground, where he disappeared with the wolves for a time, before the wolves eventually wandered back out.
Shortly after the wolves left the hole, the guy came walking out seemingly unscathed, before going on his way. Nobody could believe the wolves left him alone, and questioned what happened in the hole.
My theory? Those pups just wanted their bellies rubbed.
National parks prohibit visitors from coming within 100 yards of wildlife — especially dangerous predators like wolves, bears and mountain lions that roam freely in parks like Yellowstone.
