
Illinois Mother Who Lied About Kid Missing Arrested In Wisconsin
The mother of the little girl who was 'missing' in Illinois two weeks ago was arrested by police in Wisconsin, police say.
Amber Alert Issued For Missing Illinois Girl Following Car Theft
On Thursday, Jan. 16th, at 6:07 am, 37-year-old Princess Ilunga reported to the Rock Island Police Department that her car had been stolen while it was left running in front of her residence and that her 4-year-old child, Blessing Aoci was inside the vehicle.
Ilunga's vehicle was stolen from the 1300 block of 14th 1/2 ST while it was left running with Aoci in a car seat in the back seat Ilunga told dispathers. The vehicle was located at approximately 6:24 a.m. in the area of 8th ST and 15th Avenue.
An extensive nine-hour search was conducted until Blessing was found outside her residence at 2:53 pm.

5 people were arrested in connection with the 'abduction' of Blessing. The kidnapping charges for a 16-year-old boy will be dropped Chief McCloud said.
Jaron Bailey-Harris, 18 years of age, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Additionally, four juveniles were apprehended for possession of stolen vehicle.

Warrant For Illinois Mother Filing False Police Report
A warrant was issued for Blessing’s mother, Princess Ilunga, for filing a false police report. While the car was, in fact, stolen, Ilunga lied and forced her seven children to lie to police officers, too.
Filing a false police report in Illinois is a Class 4 felony in Illinois can land a fine up to $25,000 and a minimum of 1 year in jail.

Wisconsin Police Arrest Illinois Mother
The Rock Island Police announced that on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at approximately 5:02 p.m., Ms. Ilunga was arrested in Jefferson County, Wisconsin after a traffic stop by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Wisconsin State Patrol conducted the stop for a suspended registration and an equipment violation. Ms. Ilunga (D.O.B. 11/03/87) was identified as the driver and taken into custody on the basis of the outstanding warrant.
Ms. Ilunga’s seven children were located in the vehicle at the time of the stop and later taken to the Lake Mills Police Department to be cared for until arrangements could be made with their father, Richard Aoci. Mr. Aoci responded to the Lake Mills Police Department and took custody of the children at approximately 9:53 p.m.
Ms. Ilunga is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail pending extradition to Illinois.
