One of the Quad Cities' favorite Christmas traditions is back.

The Putnam Museum has announced that they're getting ready for their 19th Annual Polar Express Pajama Party.

The PJ party has added some special Christmas-y events over the years, besides just showing the movie "The Polar Express" on their big screen.

They also have a hot cocoa bar, face painting, crafts, a "lights-out" scavenger hunt through the exhibits, and take-home goodie bags that include an exclusive keepsake ornament. The new addition this year?

The beloved pajama party will run December 18th-December 21st. All ticket holders, regardless of what day they attend the pajama party, are invited back to see the reindeer on December 20th.

There will be a sensory-friendly version of the event on December 14th. It will have dimmed lights, lower sound levels, 2D presentation, a designated cool-down zone, and tickets do not include activities.

Event-only tickets (that don't include the movie) are $10. General Access tickets (which do include the movie and all the other festivities) are $16. VIP tickets ($35) include all activities, along with priority movie seating, and exclusive items like a bell, lanyard, wristband, and t-shirt. Ultimate VIP tickets ($60) include all VIP perks along with a small popcorn combo, a JP polar plush, and a JP pin.

You can get tickets for the Polar Express Pajama Party on the Putnam's website.

If you know you want to go, get tickets soon. Tickets went on sale on November 14th and showtimes are already beginning to sell out, according to the Putnam.
