It’s Official, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are America’s Favorite Halloween Candy

We've talked a lot about Halloween candy. From Iowa and Illinois's Favorites, to the most popular according to kids.

It's that time of year again, when a lot of surveys come out about the most popular types of Halloween candy. In the latest one, conducted by Monmouth University, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups won. Like they always do.

The poll was conducted by phone and focused on the eight bestselling candies of the season and found that 36% of people say Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are their favorite Halloween candies. That's twice as many as the next runner up, Snickers. Snickers came in second with 18%, and M&M's were third, with 11%.

Tootsie Pops got the fewest votes in the survey, at 2%,
