Is It Time To Build A Flood Wall in Davenport?

Are you ready to build a wall now? After yesterday's HESCO barrier break in downtown Davenport, the calls for the wall are growing louder.

I don't know what the cost is of building one is, but it might be time to build a levee. After all, we deal with this every year.  If only usually for a few weeks

On one hand it affects a relatively small portion of our community, and on the other hand people driving to work today will have to take a different route. It's incredibly inconvenient, massively expensive.

It's time for you, the people, to decide.
