Iowa Man Trashes Hospital While Being Treated for Tide Pod Consumption

This guy is so late to the party on popular trends, I expect he'll release a "Harlem Shake" video next. We'll have to wait until he's out of jail to see.

26-year-old Brandon McVay was admitted to a hospital in Council Bluffs earlier this month because he had eaten a Tide Pod. A whopping eight months after that dumb trend peaked.

During his treatment, McVay freaked out and went on a rampage. He trashed the room they had him in and then continued his destruction in the hallway. He ended up destroying four computers and left broken glass scattered all around the Critical Care Unit.

The police estimate that he did more than $7,500 worth of damage before they could stop him. McVay was charged with felony criminal mischief and will have to foot the bill for cleanup and replacing what he broke.
