Kirk Ferentz Wants Round 2 Against Matt Campbell In Celebrity Pinewood Derby

After a hairline 0.03-second victory in the 2021 Celebrity Pinewood Derby, Iowa State Football Coach Matt Campbell and University of Iowa Football Coach Kirk Ferentz are set for another matchup in the 2022 Pinewood Derby.

A car submitted by University of Iowa Football's Kirk Ferentz will be facing off against Iowa State University's Head Coach Matt Campbell and his Pinewood Derby car in the ultimate grudge match.

The race will be held in a "Best of 3" format. Last year, round three began with a 1-1 record for both coaches, but Matt Campbell's car was able to muster up the milliseconds of extra speed to cross the finish line just ahead of Campbell.
