An Iowa artist has made international headlines after creating an impressive piece of art out of the snow that fell earlier this week.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Carlos Maldonado shared pictures of the shark saying that the shark is roughly 20 feet long.

People can drive by and see the artist's work on North Summit Street in Iowa City, though the shark may not be visible under the new snow that's moved into the area on Friday.

The mouth is 5.5 feet tall, and the tail and back fins are about 4 to 4.5 feet tall.
