New Ice Cream Store Opening This Week In Downtown East Moline

Hold onto your waffle cones, Quad Cities! Your favorite mobile sweet spot is officially putting down roots. Sara and Jorel Justus are trading the food trailer life for a brand-new, brick-and-mortar home, bringing their frozen creations straight to the heart of downtown East Moline.

Just Us & Treats is officially opening its doors at 820 15th Ave. in East Moline, and they’re throwing a week-long party to celebrate.

What’s on the Menu?

Doughnuts, sundaes, floats, 12 signature ice cream flavors, and their legendary ice cream nachos are all on the lineup, complete with comfy indoor seating.

The Opening Week

East Moline Main Street and the Justus family want the whole community to help break in the new space. Mark your calendars for two massive events this week:

• The Soft Opening & Ribbon Cutting: Tuesday, Sept. 22 @ 2:00 p.m.

Kick off the new chapter alongside local leaders, fellow business owners, and local ice cream fanatics. Catch the official ribbon cutting at 2 p.m., then hang out and grab a treat until 8 p.m.

• The Big Grand Opening Bash: Saturday, Sept. 26 @ 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Bring the whole crew for an afternoon packed with family fun! We’re talking face painting (2–4 p.m.), live music, photo ops, cool giveaways, and official Just Us & Treats merch to show off your QC pride.

First-Week Hours (Sept. 21–27)

The shop is running on limited hours for week one. Plan your sugar cravings accordingly:

• Tuesday (Ribbon Cutting): 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday – Friday: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday (Grand Opening): 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed
