You may have been to the store and only to find out there's plenty of wine, but they're out of cheese. There's more than one food that pairs well with wines, and it's something you already have at your house. So, which ones do you have with which bottle?

Classic Potato Chips- Champagne loves salt and fats. The high acidity of the chips combined with the carbonation is why you drown your chips down with soda too.

Barbecue Chips- Typically sweet food goes with sweet wine, but who want's sweet and barbecue? Think more along the lines of Napa Zinfandels or Spanish Priorats. Ripley fruity, luscious wines.

Sour Cream & Onion- You'll want something with a little bit of acidity. Oregon Chardonnay is the way to go.

Salt & Vinegar- It's really salty, so you'll want something with a little tanginess to it. Go for a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or Spanish Albariño.

Parmesan & Garlic Chips

Apparently this is something I'll have to keep an eye out for, apparently made by Kettle Chips. Just go for a basic ol' Rose´.This is about as close to wine and cheese as you might get, unless you start grabbing the Slim Jim and Cheddar cheese sticks from the gas station check out area.
