Surveillance footage from the Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital in Stafford, Virginia shows one of their patients escaping at around 4 AM.

That patient was a 10-year-old Great Pyrenees named General. He started his escape by opening the latch on his kennel and then opening three more doors to get outside the hospital.

General didn't travel far, he was found the next morning in the yard of a home near where he escaped.

Owner Travis Campbell says, “He is very special. He is a smart dog. Getting out of doors, in a door is nothing new. I told them that when we dropped him off, but never had a problem getting out of any place that boarded him before.”
