Hoptober; Around The World In 50 Beers.

From the folks at New Belgium in Colorado, this is a pretty mellow beer.

Just the facts:

Bottle temp at opening: 38 degrees.

Drinking temp: 39 degrees.

Nose: Hops is it's first name.

Taste: Sharp, sweet.

I looked at this label, which features a bunch of people dancing around a giant fire, and I can only assume they finally found the guy who invented hoppy beer, tied him to a gas-soaked log and lit him up.  But as hop-centric beers go, this one is surprisingly barley forward.  A pleasure to drink--as long as there's no Hop-vember coming down the pike...
